Hearst Tower is a office building in New York City at the southeast corner of 57th Street and Eighth Avenue, the construction of the original base of the building called International Magazine Building in 1927 designed by Joseph Urban and George B Post & Sons it was completed in 1928 and intended as a future base of a new tower. The Hearst Magazine Building was designed in Art Deco style. In 2003 Norman Foster announced to construct a tower at the International Magazine Building, the construction began at April and completed at 2006.
